I thought there was an event that gives japan a chance of getting french indo-china when the Vichy Government is formed? How come I never got the choice? Is it a bug or have I done something that made Japan ineligible for it?

There's events for Japan in or out of the Axis (JAP 3803 and 3850). Both require Vichy to control all of Indochina and Madagascar for them to fire; maybe France lost some before Vichy formed? They also require Japan to not be Allied.

You should be able to just type event 3803 in the console (F12); I believe that will ignore the trigger conditions. Were you at war with France but not part of the Axis or are you at war with Vichy? If you took provinces while at war with France then those would not get transferred to Vichy when it formed and would still be owned by France (and controlled by you) so the event won't give you ownership of them.jmpt said:
