Lost a few transport outside California.

Sank some empty british transport ships outside Manila.

Love it. Your AAR is great. Its in-depth with plenty of tips. Very helpful to anyone wanting to play Japan or a Naval focused nation. The small auto return button in regard to naval landings...never noticed it before now.

The East may well be a tougher battle, but the USA is looking much reduced all the same.
Thanks for the feedback and nice compliments. I am not the best at writing english (second language) and I don't have so much interest in story-telling or time/interest to invest to historical facts. So I try to just take some good screenshots and let them do the talking. I am actually pasting each one right into paint so I can edit it on the go, it makes it so much easier for making the AAR. But I can do with some spellchecking when I look back at posts.
When I look back at the AAR, I wonder where the 4 CV's I set into production in May 1941 according to post 103 (page 6) went? It is not in production now. But, the game has crashed several times, so it could be it crashed and then I did not remake them or something. Good about the wargames, I would maybe even have done a few more if I actually knew they were helpful.
Got quite good grasp on the game mechanics and read a lot on the forums, so I have tried to make the AAR something new players can learn from. And yeah, it is a lot of naval, so perfect AAR for learning such stuff. That being said, I am not a really into the math behind everything so I can't argue for the "perfect fleet" or anything like that. I mainly did this AAR because I could not find any Japan AAR where they got to Pearl Harbour, and I was trying to take USA as Japan, which I failed at 3-4 times before I started this AAR. I did some research, then knowing I needed lots of MTN divisions for west-coast of USA. And I realized the Light Infantery doctrine probably is the best for Japan, as it peaks in 1942-1943, and it has a lot better org-regain than for example Mobile Doctrine, so I did not try to switch this time.
As for multi-player. I am not sure. A game takes such long time, and my game even crashes every now and then.
It could be. I am trying to launch a Panama invasion as fast as possible, which is not to fast. Hoping to finish off USA early 1943. Soviet Union is my next target if I would win against USA.
As for nukes go, does someone now how the nuke range could be in 1945-1946? If I annex everything around my main-islands, in thousands of km, are they safe from nukes then?

Hi. I am back again. I have played some more, and I am going to put out my progress again here. I have had a break since January, as I have been travelling a bit and moving twice. But I am back again with more posts. The game has been running smoothly without any crashes so far, which is really nice.

Just seeing a bit on organization regain levels. These ARM divisions are placed in mountain province, but I don't think it should affect organization regain. But, I think infrastructure does that, because of supply efficiency. Found this on a thread when I googled:

Just finished researching "1940 Naval Infantery Division". My next technology will be "Improved Field Artillery" as I have blueprint for it (I guess one of my puppets have researched it already).
Tulsa is taken by a US ARM division.
17th December my two CAV will arrive in Rankin Inlet. I guess it should be quite cold thee in December.
Intelligence report of USA. They have 36 infantery divisions and 2 ARM divisions. Not good that it is going up. If I meet 60 US divisions, then I could be in for some trouble. They still have their IC at around 430, so they could pump out a lot of divisions.

In South East USA I have met some resistance at Jackson in a US ARM division. I am attacking in with four MOT divisions, and also sending two MOT divisions around its right flank.

Intelligence report of UK. They have 130 INF divisions, 3 ARM division, 26 fighters and only 4 bombers. 6 BB and 5 CV is not that good, but hopefully enough to keep the Germans out of doing any landings on the UK islands.

5th November 1942 - 16th November 1942
Rebasing four of my fighters to Mobile which is now secured with Japanese forces.
Attacking Kansas City from Tulsa with two ARM divisions.
Setting "Air Supiority" mission in day time for my four INT wings based at Mobile. It is weird they don't have range enough for flying in Jackson even though they have range enough to go to provinces which are further away.
Moving two MOT division back to Macon to block the retreat of the one encircled US paratrooper division.
The 6 INF divisions i strategic redeployed to New Orleans just arrived.
Support attacking Kansas City with two INF divisions.
I am being attacked by two US divisions, which one is a tank, in Pine Bluff. My two CAV divisions will lose this, so I move in two CAV division from nearby province in support.
My 8 Light Cruisers just finished. They will be deployed in home islands right away as undeployed ships take huge TC load.
Holding out at Tupelo but my MOT divisions there don't have much org. Pine Bluff is also still holding.

USA intelligence report. A bit less divisions now with 28 infantery divisions and 1 ARM.
Partisans appear in Juneau. I send one of the divisions in Victoria to crush the partisans.
Adding 4 more series of MIL production. I produce them with MP-brigades already attached, I lose a tiny bit of efficency, but it makes my life a bit easier also.

Naval landing on Guam underway.
I had "auto-return to base" turned on when setting the naval landing mission. I rebase the ships to Guam so I the four INF divisions can do more landings.
Two new transports just finished production.
Naval landing at Truk next.
More GAR finished production. These will be used on protecting islands.
Always nice when you repel attacks on your convoys.
Success in defending Vicksburg.
Miami is in Japanese hands.

I currently have 106 divisions in USA/Canada.

Just finished researching "Fighter Veteran Iniative". I then proceed down the tactical bomber doctrine to get night bombing.
South-East USA
Battle of Nebraska City looking good so far.
Intelligence report of USA. They only have 22 infantery division! I guess I have destroyed some, but if that number is correct, I am winning this.
10 new divisions ready to deploy. They are going straight to USA.
I took all the 10 above, except I traded 2 MIL for 2 GAR, that I am going to place on Pearl Harbour, so the two INF divisions there can fight in USA.
Finished researching "Improved Field Artillery". I decided that I am not going to build tactical bombers. But instead going for strategic bombers and CAS. So I research strategic bombing doctrine instead.
I cancel the tactical bomber doctrine researching. I will from night bombardment technology down the strategic bomber doctrine tree, also be able to research the night fighting technologies. I can't get such an "night technology" from the close-air-support bomber doctrine.
I choose a on-board aircraft radar as my next technology as it is a 1941 technology. I try to not research so much 1942-1943 non-critical technologies so I can catch up on escpecially air technology.
