It's almost perfect, but not quite; Australia was settled by the French in Code Geass, which is why it was chosen as the 'Neutral Ground' to discuss terms with Britannia to slow down/stop it's expansion by making peace with China and, well, EVERYONE, resulting in the Treaty of Melbourne (presumably signed there, though that raises questions because Melbourne was a British man...why would the French name a city after him?). Other than that though, seems pretty spot on.

On the bad side, they had 3,000,000 troops in EU4, and control pretty much every raw resource in the game.

10% of Abbasids is much more people that 40% of British

BUT

In Vic 2, tech points depend on the ratio, not raw numbers of literate people. That's why China never gets good technology levels even though they are the most populous, and small European countries can be technological monsters, as they can easily reach 99% literacy in a couple decades.

Very few in EU IV, in test conversion I did it was the same in Vic2, but maybe I will be able to change this so countries like France will have cores on their lands in V2, do you want that?

It would be interesting if nationalist rebels try for independence. But, if wars of liberation could be made to tear up the Abbasids, and if they lose a great war and get dismantled, it would be too decisive and leave only one power left to rule the world.

Basically, having conquered countries' cores would make the game much much easier, and thus less interesting. Perhaps political rebels are enough.

Edit:
An afterthought; how about you leave native cores on your lands you have but leave the rest of the world as is. It ups the difficulty when your American dominions want autonomy and "liberated comrades" in places far separated, from Ireland to Japan, demand their independence.

With regards to the Abbasids, I have found that they have too strong of a start in the Old Gods right now, that empire level title makes it impossible for them to properly collapse and there is almost always a huge Muslim blob because of it. A human player controlling them would only make the problem that much worse, and they're very likely to snowball out of control.

With regards to the playthrough, this is fairly cool. I've never thought that a massive two sided global conflict like this could spring up in Crusader Kings and Europa Universalis. At least outside of multiplayer.

AAR needs someone with a writing talent, this is more like mini relation + discussion of game mechanics.

It would be interesting if nationalist rebels try for independence. But, if wars of liberation could be made to tear up the Abbasids, and if they lose a great war and get dismantled, it would be too decisive and leave only one power left to rule the world.

Basically, having conquered countries' cores would make the game much much easier, and thus less interesting. Perhaps political rebels are enough.

Edit:
An afterthought; how about you leave native cores on your lands you have but leave the rest of the world as is. It ups the difficulty when your American dominions want autonomy and "liberated comrades" in places far separated, from Ireland to Japan, demand their independence.
It's either all or none, manually editing every province is out of the question.

I'd say any player controlled nation is vastly overpowered, no matter if it's Abbasids or a county in Ireland.

I'd say any player controlled nation is vastly overpowered, no matter if it's Abbasids or a county in Ireland.
The only time I've seen one of my creations spiral out of control once given over to the AI's hands was a custom Aztec kingdom that only ruled the British Isles, Northern France, and Rome when I gave it to the AI. They ended up conquering most of the world. By contrast, a massive Norse empire that ruled Scandinavia, the British Isles, and the Netherlands had only took over most of Germany when time ran out, and that was with an extra 300 years more then the Aztec one. Random adventurers had taken more land in other parts of the world, but they completely independent. The Aztec kingdom had drifted nearly the whole world into it's DeJure borders.

You are talking about a game where a player created a monster empire probably using all kinds of exploits and fighting against annoying game mechanics that the average to novice player would NEVER be able to do. This guy is probably an expert at the game. Then he gives this unstoppable power to an AI. That leads you to think we need more anti blobbing?
