Is that... every surviving nation on Earth?

No, those are only great powers as only they count for great war requirementsIs that... every surviving nation on Earth?I guess if your nation was one of the few that survived the Great Abbasid Deluge it's not so much of a stretch to consider yourself pretty great.
Nonsense. Everyone knows Superman-led Samoyedia attacked both sides of the Great War after they spent much of their manpower fighting each other, leading to the unification of humanity under our most glorious and enlightened leader, Emperor Kal-El I."As allied forces of UPR and Chinese Empire managed to bog down the British offensive, both in Rhineland, and in Guangzhou, one of the most unexpected and improbable situations developed. Samoyedia - in a move unprecedented in human history, having almost no military, sided with the British. The world reacted with laughter, at first, but after the very first "battle" between Samoyedia and Ming this laughter turned into dread. Samoyedian "task force", consisting of a single brigade, managed to completely wipe out a million-strong Chinese army, and in a matter of hours. According to reports of few Chinese officers that managed to survive the slaughter, it was all work of one individual, that seemed to be faster than artillery shells and able to leap unbelievable distances in a single bound. One account even mentioned seeing said individual breathing fire. Descriptions varied, but all seemed to agree that it was a tall, athletic man with fair skin, black hair, seemingly of European persuasion. Hapless witnesses were, of course, swiftly executed for obvious treason, defeatism, desertion and dereliction of duty, and Imperial High Command did their best to squash the rumours. After the first Beijing siege however, lifted at the cost of one and a half million soldiers and volunteer militiamen, Ming saw, and understood, the writing on the wall. The Empire retained nominal independence, but became a condominium of Samoyedia and Britain, divided roughly along Shanghai-Nanjing-Jining-Xi'an line. The day the treaty was signed, Samoyeds turned their attention westwards."

How many nations are there on the map now in total? Can't be that many left, I just thought it might be hilarious if there were actually eight nations left as then every nation by default gets considered a Great Power (right?).No, those are only great powers as only they count for great war requirements
15, 8 great powers and the rest are either secondary powers or uncivilizedHow many nations are there on the map now in total? UPR journalist - Muhammad ibn Shepardi was in Ming and made a photograph of first battle between Ming and Samoyedia
He though he made a photo of his life but when he returned to Homs he was considered a cheater and was sent to the work camp in the desert for the rest of his life.

YesSo if Dai Nam attacks Lan Xang and somehow Jolof and Benin are dragged in on opposite sides it will be considered a Great War?![]()

I think that there would be less than 8 Great Powers, so nothing special would happen.Would it be possible to wipe out more of the small nations (perhaps with Ming's help?) so we can see what happens if there aren't enough nations to make 8 Great Powers?
There are less then 8 secondary powers and this simply makes an empty slot so I'm pretty sure the same would happen in case of great powers.Would it be possible to wipe out more of the small nations (perhaps with Ming's help?) so we can see what happens if there aren't enough nations to make 8 Great Powers?
