Its Personal! a Portuguese AAR (maybe)

so, i've been thinking for some time about writing an AAR.
rules are simple for me. do what it takes to win. i will blanket siege any enemy i find.
for this AAR, i would only go to war for either, A. claim on throne casus belli, or a reconquest, or forged documents.
house rules include however, no vassals, and no defected provinces. if a province i seige defects, i will sell it to a neighbor.
game settings will all be normal, except inflation none (i can never sustain low inflation w/o being the butt end of a joke from another country)
would their be an interest in this type of AAR?
i've never done an AAR before, and i've never claimed to be very good. i'm going out for the night, and when i get back, i'll check this. if there is a 65% or more, i will commence writing at my earliest convinience.
also, should i write this, how do i work photobucket, or imageshack, i've never used either except for a faild attempt at posting a screenie. (windows vista)

still not a gaurentee it will happen since one person responded 5 hours later. i had a test game before, and i kept losing my claims on thrones.
should i just write an AAR about, my epic failures on the battlefeild?

in any event, if i do a new AAR, i need to think of a new name, since its personal insinuates personal union. i can hear the hampster wheel turning in my head.

Also, failures are often the best AARs. After all, you learn more from your failures than anything else.

I would certainly follow a good Portugal AAR. I would have replied to this earlier, but this is the first time I've been on the forum since you must have posted it! So go ahead with it!

As for the screenshots, I use Photobucket myself, its quite easy to use, even for a thicko such as me. Just register an account (of course) and then upload your screenshots to the account. This is done via the 'Bulk Upload' option. Then move the newly uploaded screenshots into an album. With the screenshots available now in the album, you will be able to see their the 'direct links' by hovering your mouse over each respective screenshot. You then simply copy paste the direct link into your forum post and around the link insert the img code e.g.

Oh and for screenshots, I actually use Fraps for screenshots, rather than taking ingame screenshots, as I simply find it easier. To save yourself some bother convert all your screenshots from the default PNG file type to JPEG. This is done via simply opening the screenshot in Paint and saving it as file type JPEG. JPEG is a much smaller size of file, thus uploading screenshots takes less time, and it takes less loading time for those visiting your thread to view the screenshots.

Oh and I probably use a horribly laborious and inefficient way of using screenshots in an AAR, so anyone more savvy in these matters, please correct me!

Actual there is a Portugal AAR up right now. I just haven't had time to update it (I just spent the last two weeks writing exams). But another Portugal one would be cool, just don't make it too much like mine. Also if you want a good site for pics try Imgur.

I wouldn't worry about your having another Portugal AAR to contend with. Kingawsomeness first posted this back in March. I rather think mayorqw ressurected the post in a bid to see if King is still planning on typing up this AAR. I certainly hope he does, but it looks increasingly unlikely.

Definitely write this AAR. Imageshack is super easy to use - even I can do it!

And I like Portugal AARs - so many ways to take things!

And I think you should be flexible on your "no defections" rule - there might be some circumstances when it might make internally logical sense. In those cases you should accept (for example, you've captured a few provinces and a bunch of Muslim rebels come along and overthrow the rest of the country you're at war with. Of course the provinces you had captured would want to stick it out with you. Things like that....)
