Gamers Gate all the way for my Paradox Stuff. I don't want to be spending the precious few hours I have waiting for Steam to update a patch. With GG, PI says its up, and it's there.
Also its easier to navigate to the right directory, than through the mazefield of steamapps folders.
No matter how you got CK2, it beats the old days when you'd have to wait until the stores got it in stock two weeks to a month later, and if you downloaded the game you would get banned.
Every other Paradox game I bought on Gamergate but it seems they are beginning to favor Steam now. At one point the plan was to only release beta patches on Steam so with that in mind I pre-ordered CK2 from there.
I buy almost everything on Steam. I once bought Oblivion three times. I had it for PC but it wouldn't run well on my old PC. I then bought it for Xbox360 but I didn't like it with the level scaling. Finally I bought it again for PC when I got a new one since I couldn't find the old disk. I also bought Diablo II at least twice. Never again though, I love Steam because it means I won't misplace any old games.
