Clearly the way to do this is to be Serbia; push back the Turks; and form Greece by culture-shifting from Serbian.

You get some pretty sweet NI's for doing so; while being rightfully Orthodox!

You can also get another achievement that way, I would definitely combine it with a second achievement

So, is it still bugged? It wouldn't even show up in achievement viewer menu so it's not possibly to do it in 1.22. I tried Serbia, Poland, Terbizond, Turkish minors, etc but not a single country is eligible. What's even stranger is that the decision to form Greece doesn't even show up for all countries with Greek as primary culture. I even tried custom nation, still no luck.

The easiest nation to do this one with is probably Venice. They start with some Greek provinces and they can obliterate the Ottomans early. If you restrict yourself to taking Greek provinces you should be able to culture shift and form Greece fairly easily, then it's just standard blobbing.

no custom nations? well i guess it makes sense as you could erase ottomans with a custom greek nation and just wait for admin 10

THe only nation eligible for this achievemnt is Byzanium as they start with Greek culture. I guess you'd need to culture shift to form something like Mughals and then Greece?

Untrue. The achievement will appear for any nation, once they switch to Greek culture.

greece can spawn via rebelion if theres no other nation with greek primary culture i belive actually here https://eu4.paradoxwikis.com/Greece yes this dosent give you the achivement but thats how it can spawn
