No Japanese focus tree then. Should still be interesting.
They said Japan would be one of the last focus trees shown off on one of the Wednesday streams.
I'm pretty sure podcat or Archangel85 said Japan would be one of the last trees to be shown so don't expect it this side of Christmas imo.

It's in the desert, and the steam store description/announcement mentions that one of the featuers is "unit acclimatization". So that's probably what this diary is about - units getting used to fighting in the desert, jungles and snow.
It is probably refering to what was mentioned in the last Dev Diary and the feature mentioned on the Waking the Tiger product page - aclimatization of the troops to the harsh enviroment
Finally, we will have the ability to control and play as a single tank. I for one cannot wait.
Unit skin changing in reference to it gaining the skill to fight more effectivly in harsh climate.

Tanks don't need fuel to run silly. The only fuel needed is in the factories when they are built!
I am hoping that we are going to get a story before bedtime. Illustrated of course.
"Once upon a time there was a little tank. He lived all alone in the desert near a shiny new airbase. But he was not happy.
"I want to be in an armoured division with lots of friends" he cried. And he sobbed himself to sleep.
A passing game designer saw the little tank fast asleep with tearstains still showing on his glacis.
"Poor little panzer" he said. "I hate to see an armoured vehicle looking so sad".
So with a wave of his magic wand ........ "

it obviously means that we can use the old dead tanks to start a steel export business as Libya did after the war.
