Dismantling coalitions should require warscore in peace deals.

This is an ooold post, but I think it's pretty clear that you must add your provinces INTO the hre as well as having them coredView attachment 133419 View attachment 133419 Can some one tell me what I did not do? Shadow Kingdom still fired on me. Friaul is the only territory not in the HRE but owned by me as Austria and being cored. I do not mind events like this but I am very frustrated with the game not explaining what it wants done. I have read different posts and my understanding was Venice and The Papal State territory had to be under the control of a HRE member which I have done but event still fires. Venice is gone and the Papal State is an HRE member. I have played multiple games trying to figure this out and am getting very frustrated and annoyed that the game it's self does not give a clear answer on what needs to be done.
I'd hate to repeat myself, but this is exactly my gripe with the current situation. In every other major event there is a chance that history takes a left turn for example Iberian Wedding and Burgundian Inheritance. At the moment the only ways to avoid the Shadow Kingdom are more or less gamey. It's the problem with the event. The territory being owned, controlled, and cored by a HRE member isn't enough. It needs to be literally added. Since the AI foolishly refuse to add territory unless they are the emperor, the only options are to force-feed the sitting emperor or to take and core it directly.
I think Paradox have noted that they very nearly just removed Italy from the Empire entirely.I'd hate to repeat myself, but this is exactly my gripe with the current situation. In my current game, Austria warred Venice and the Pope (thanks to its ally Sienna). It ended up owning all of Italy bar Rome and the minor islands. It added all of this to the HRE. The event still fired.
I really, really like the event, but the AI needs to be able to deal with it in a non-moronic fashion - give something so the AI can at least try to get Rome in the HRE if they are close to keeping the event from firing.

Actually, this would be preferable than just simply truce = no coalition.
