Hi,

I'm playing Venice which became Italy.
The year is 1803, and Ming is finally down, and my final goal of a WC with Venice is coming to an end and I hope, will succeed.

During a war with Bouriates (french name, not sure for the english one : it is the blue power north of Manchuria), whom was a tributary of Ming, Ming died : I took all its land + the one province of Bouriates.

But Shun and Ryukiu, who were two other tributaries of Ming, not involved in the war, are now my tributaries.

I'm not the Emperor of China (the empire of China icon is nonexistent any more, as is the HRE icon).

Is it normal that i could have those two countries as tributaries? I think not, but maybe I do not know right.

Before that I post a bug report, I just decided to ask you guys.

Thanks
(I added the savegame if anyone needs it.)

Full annexing a nation gives you that nation's CNs, if any. I'm not sure about other subject types, but it could be that it's handled the same way with tributaries.

Whether WAD or not, I don't know, but it's not unreasonable that it might me.

According to the wiki That's only true if he's an eastern religion
You can only establish new tributaries if you're a horde/eastern religion/emperor of china.
You however have inherited Ming's tributaries by full annexing them. You always inherit a nation's vassals if you full annex them. If they had any other vassals or colonial nations, then you would have inherited them too.

Not entirely true! Case in point, while trying my first serious Ming->Qing game, after rolling over Oirat+Mongol-vassal, I decided to eat all of Oirat and most of Mongolia, thinking I could burn the Mongol land then return it for decreased liberty desire. However, Ming managed to wind up with a tiny Mongolian vassal instead of me. Bit of a surprise on that one! :p
