It seems that if you dont own the right dlc you cant have blond nor redhead italians.

Considering that last time I checked my italian family were pretty fair haired, this is rather strange.

Without reopening the case of paradox trying to figure out that mediterraneans are europeans and not a space alien race, can someone help me mod this issue?

Really? ... A misinterpretation on the mediterranean history? Again? Oh, so sad.
I'm italian also, my mother is blonde and all my family from my mother is very fair haired, with green or blue eyes, and I know many people with red hair, my father and I have brown hair, just to say. I'm from Rome.

About the mediterranean History, those aberrations like the Visigothic culture is still there? And casually, now in the game is mentioned in some way the birth of the communes
in Italy? Useless to explain that it is one of the most important moments of the whole medieval European history.

Yeah, dude, look at the ruler designer; you can just have one phenotype for italians, black hair. stop.

Paradox made very questionable decisions regarding mediterraneans in this game and I fear no one can talk about it for some reason.

the funny thing is that greeks and other mediterraneans can be blond in ck2 without med dlc.

Lol, also, i noticed that the "Lombard" (Is't the correct name "Langobard"?) culture occupies most of southern Italy. Amalfi of Lombard culture ... Dear God. And the Suebi culture...

For that matter, I believe that the black-hair only issue also applies to Occitans in vanilla. Unless it's been updated in the meantime, Occitans do not even have a dedicated DLC for them to have blond hair.

The designator for blonde hair is in the base files, just commented out. Open portraits_southern.gfx and you'll see
Code:
#{ 10 10 10 } { 242 218 145 } { 255 255 255 } #Blonde
already inside the file. You can erase the pound sign if you want to add blonde in.

Hey man, thanks for helping me! Is there an explanation on why this issue exist in the first place? Why is it limited?
