btw - are you guys attacking New York or something? Albany? The name of the country is Albania.

Italy w/ Axis has the advantage that you get only half of the dissent hits.

I would say that a downside of this is that your convoys from Persia would have to come through Gibraltor once war starts. If the UK player is any good, not many convoys should be able to get through. So then if you take the Suez to have your convoys go through there, you are close to Iraq from the west and can take it that way, and then you dont have to worry about USSR, as they'd have to go through Persia to get to you.

Italian Strategy

A good way for Italy to 'win' is to not Join the Axis. Italy should just conquer, conquer, conquer (IN MP mind you) with out joining the AXIS...get all the resources/ICs etc and stretched out the Italian Empire.

If you get DOW'd by SU or the Allies, immediately join the Axis.

The basic premise for this strategy is to keep out of the greater war while adding to the Empire...If germany needs help or you need help..you can give each other Exp Forces.

Though the counter to this Strategy is that the Allies have to DOW GERMANY and ITALY and JAPAN seperately (yes this can be used for Japan too)...but that will be a 120 DISSENT HIT TOTAL........... :)

or a 30 DISSENT HIT FOR SU....

So once Italy has conquered enuff of the world..... both Japan and Italy can join the Axis..with an immediate increase of VPs.....for the Axis powers...
