Just started to playing the game looks great so far. In 1914 I do have some issues with the Italian Cores.

First Chambery should be a core right off the back being the territory known as Savoy where Italian nationalsit through both World wars have claimed. Vittorio Emmanuelles Family (monarch of italy) comes from this region that was surrendered to france after the risorgomento.

The Italian claims of Dalmatia is strangely represented in the game. A big reason for going into WW1 was to gain Dalmatia for Italy and at the same time was one of the biggest let downs after the war that lead to the rise of Mussolini.

In The Game only Split and Dubronvik have Cores. Italy did not just claim these areas but the whole of Dalmatia which was heavily Populated with italians at the time. It only makes sense to include karlovac and Knin (Remaining two Dalmatian provinces) As Italian Cores. Makes no sense to only have 2 seperate cores when the entire region was claimed.

Cores whould be removed from the Dodecanese Islands as these were recent acquisitions and should be treated like the Colonial territory in Libya and Elsewhere meaning they should only be claims. They where firmly greek islands not part of the Italian Irredenta.

Besides that everything seems great in regards to cores. I wish the WW1 scenario was more open ended and gave the player more options to take Different routes. Like staying Allied with he Central powers for instance. I cant elaborate on this cause ww1 hasnt really fired in my games yet seems to be an isolate conflict in Eastern Europe if anything.

Can the devs take my suggestions and implement them?

Savoy, Nice, Tunisia should be claims.
Corsica can be core since their language is more similar to italian than the language spoken in Udine or Bozen.
The two dalmatian provinces should be claim or core for the simple reason that Italy wanted all the coast of Mediterrean. And also allow Italy to place troops in Albania.

Nice and Savoy should be firmly Italian Cores. heck Italian is still significant in those Areas today. There where fascist movements their supporting annexation to Italy. When it was voted to have those areas Annexed to France the electiosn where rigged by the French despite the majority of the population wishing to remain with italy. This was back Italian Unification Times.

Giuesseppe Garibaldi Unifer of Italy was born in Nice.

As for Dalmatian Provinces should also be cores not just Claims. Read italian Exodus from Dalmatia area had significant Italian Population up till end of WW2.

Tunisia as Claims I agree.

it was greek/turkish not just greek :D many turks moved out during and after WW1.

Fair Enough :) In any case Italian cores should be removed.

King Vittorio Emanuele II never learned italian, so I don´t know demography of time. I suppose that people at Savoy and Nice spoken local language and french. Very few spoken the official italian.

Where are you getting information he didnt speak Italian?

Nice and Savoy have Italian Speakers today and more then 80% of Nices Population claims some Italian Ancestry. This would only be more so in 1914 or 1936.

No part of Italy in 1914 spoke Standardized italian except maybe Tuscany. By that Logic Sicily and the south shouldnt be italian cores,.

A suggestion for an italian event.

In '36, almost simultaneously with the war in Ethiopia, there was yet another diatribe on aircraft carriers yes/no. Much of the top brass of the navy were strongly opposed. Others said the possibilities and churn out many projects.

Well, why not put an event in '36 so you can choose whether to remain on the current line, or change the Chief of Staff of the Navy to put another official that gives a bonus to research and construction time for the aircraft carriers?
For example, the engineer Giuseppe Rota, who already in a meeting in '25 spoke in favor (the only navy's official) of the project.

So, if you leave everything as it is, there may be a bonus to -1% disagree (you reassure the people).

If you change the minister, +1% to disagree (in people it creates doubts and naval personnel agitated the newspapers). In addition, bonus to research and construction of aircraft carriers (I think 10% and 10%).

I'll look into cores and claims of Italy.
Honestly, I think I'll probably add claims on Klin and Karlovac and perhaps add the core on Chambery.

You can't add claims on Knin and Karlovac since it wouldn't allow the normal partition of Yugoslavia for AI Germany. It's the same reason why Hungary can't get Petrovgrad claim on.

it was greek/turkish not just greek :D many turks moved out during and after WW1.

If those islands are "turkish" too, then the north east coast of asia minor gets to be greek. Christian greeks moved out, but muslim greeks are still there to this day. Armenian cores on eastern turkey while we at it..

edit: Kind of shocking at the amount of "ethnic cleansing" France has done within its borders. From stamping out Occitian, Breton, German, Italian... What am I forgetting?
