I am going to find out if you can get cores on more than one country with this event. Assuming you annex more than one italian state on the same day, I am guessing this mission will give you cores on "any/all".

For the price of insane badboy, you could instantly get cores on all of Italy! This is even more useful if you are Burgundy because you are probably still a HRE member, so the cores prevent you from taking additional "unlawful imperial territory" badboy.

Actually, yes, you can, as long as you peace with all the countries on the same day, because as soon as you get an Italian province the mission is done. So, to maximize the benefits you should go to war with the 5 biggest states in Italy, wait til you get 5 diplomats again, and peace out for all the provinces you can with each country on the same day.

Okay I tried this in DW.

You CAN actually make peace with more than one italian nation, as long as you make all the peace deals on the same day, you get cores on ALL the provinces you asked for.

I just got cores from Milan and Tuscany from the same event.

In theory you could annex every single italian country and get cores on their provinces on the same day.

if you can manage that with 5 diplomats , yes

a side note : it is really hard to get this mission as Austria
you need to do all missions except 'hegemony over north italy' and possibly 'subjugate/annex Burgundy' , lose a war to get rid of south tyrol , and hops the game picks the right one

BTw , the annex Bohemia mission is somewhat odd now , as you will rack up loads of infamy as it will be unlawful imperial territory

cb for all of italy? i think not.. grab 3 provinces off Naples or if your powerful enough take on milan but your gonna end up fighting the emperor too

as burgundy he can become emperor before doing the mission.

If going for WC though, if I am England, culture shift to France, using those exploits, is it possible to get and use this exploit? Would possibly have to stay out of HRE d'Italia, but still, free cores!

Since someone else necro'd the thread I'll add an update:

In the 5.2 patch this is no longer necessary since Trent (south tyrol) is no longer in the Italian region.
