I agree.. there should be an option… you can however disable all the work shifts for those buildings it will stop the maintenance during the dust storms

Do you moxies/vaps not have a turn off button? (ctrl-click to toggle all buildings)

No.

Quite honestly, maintaince needs an overhaul anyways. It's possible to delay maintainance for a whole sol or so and saving an precious machine parts and stuff simply by keeping the parts away from your drones. That should really not be possible...
Simple solution would be to have drones maintaining structures at 90% and and maintaining recovers only 90% of the structures detoriation. Once the structure hits 100% detoriation, it turns as they do right now but only when they reach what feels like 110%.

Oh those are turned off automagically by dust storms, just drones be drones and fixing it when they don't need to :)

Yes. And during a several day long dust strom they will repair the structures several times since they break so quickly

So far CTRL+clicking will turn off or on every building so no other way and sad it is not automated.

What exactly are you replying to? It's not possible to turn off Vaporators and MOXIEs during dust storms

I know it's not the solution you are looking for, but because there is a timer before dust storms, it's easy to pause the game at T-1 hour and turn off the buildings you want.

Yeah. That works. (It's actually possible to wait for the dust storm to start and then pause)
But turning off the work shifts as Damx suggested works much better since you can turn them off even after the dust storm started.
