It is weird that cutting a country's access to its colony doesn't stop its expansion.

I'm green Burundi. I just took red Britain's coastal colonies in Africa to cut off its access to inland, thinking it'll starve out, not grow anymore, and get lost to natives.

Not so. The blocked off British colonies still kept expanding, have decent standard of living (15.3, despite everyone being peasants), and no native taking their land back.

This needs to be fixed. It's creating ugly border gore too.
