Issues with supply convoys

Playing as Axis with Italy and spain allied and the Med closed off I noticed that spainish convoys were getting wiped out, when I paused to check further they were running convoys in the atlantic instead of unopposed from gibralter to tangiers. For info purposes spain controls the northwest portion of Africa, when france falls I have to f12 acceptall to get the territory back. but once I do this spainish convoys do not reposition to the safer more obvious route and are completely wiped out??

What happens if you manually cancel this convoy and let the game to create a new one?

I will try , the issue with that is saving then reloading as spain, It can screw up things that you already have in motion, all orders cancelled, units giving new orders, leader reassignments, some decisions made, dissent hits. I will try though, if it proves to work I will do this when I reload make the claim to lands lost when france fell and do the acceptall. will let u know

I more interested if the game will create the same convoy or another one with better (shorter/safer) path.

Just an FYI I ran that game out a while and spain did not change their convoy until the depot in Africa (Villa cisnaras?) was out of supplies, then they changed to Oran. of course their merchant marine fleet was scattered about the bottom of the atlantic and they were out of transports by then.
