I have issues with HOI pulling lots of changes or pushing them to OneDrive while loading the game ie shader cash, cuasing the game to load realy slow. Is there a setting in game to make this behaver disappear

Check the file size. Normally the trouble was you do little thing and save file grows from 20Mb to 200Mb or even more. And since it's a markup the engine has heavy burden parsing.

Can you explain what you meant with thing? Also, the main issue for me probably isn't a few 200mb saves but 100x 1kb files that takes a few second per files to check changes against

  1. Save file is one compressed / serialized file. You mean small file INSIDE the save file structure?
  2. Save file is in internal markup format. I don't know now yet even 6-9 months ago when you do some little thing the engine could go crazy and create a nested or a copied structure of gazillion order within the save file. So the end result after parsing was the same yet the loader had to parse A LOT.
  3. I used to have this trouble sometimes even when I was assigning ships to fleets or DIVs to armies. You save and you get 200Mb save instead of 20Mb you had one minute ago. Yet it was normally solved if you reload and change the order of assignment.

I strongly suspect that you have an issue with how OneDrive is set up. I'm not an expert on OneDrive but what you are describing sounds like something where you've ended up with these files being stored online only.
