Issue with new launcher. Immediately closes game.

Looks like you have some networking issue:

Do you have anything custom set up in the hosts file pointing to 127.0.0.1 perhaps? Any other networking issues?

Can you please do a traceroute to api.paradoxplaza.com and api.paradox-interactive.com and let us know what you see.

Regarding any custom set up on the host file that's a negative, I never opened that file so it should be on a normal set up, and no, no other networking issues...

I'm suspecting this is a red herring now.

I now have three reports of this on 10.13.6 and so I'm beginning to suspect there might be a problem with the launcher and MacOS versions before 10.14 , I'm not sure how far back they test that app. Are you on a MacOS version 10.13 or earlier? If so are you willing and able to go to 10.14.6 ? Or is there something stopping you from doing so?

Yikes... Yes, I'm on 10.13 because my mac cant support mojave, but I still get updates from the app store on it...
Only one option to solve my problem I guess.
Any chance to get an udpated version with the old launcher? Because the game runs fine

Not at all, I'm sorry. But I will be escalating the issue with the launcher on 10.13 to Paradox in a few hours; FYI there is also an issue with the game on 10.15 so the Mac side should get some attention soon I'd say!

In the meantime I guess you should revert to 1.28.3 .

I would revert but then MP becomes obsolete.

I'll be waiting for that fix, if you could ping it on this post when available would be great!
