Issue with loading sounds since last patch

Hi!

It's a small issue, but it might be worth fixing. I use both loudspeakers and headphones on my computer, and since the latest patch the game stops loading sometimes. (the loading bar won't move anymore, but the loading music is still on) It always happens when it writes "loading sounds" on the screen, and it usually happens, if I start to use the headphones after I used the loudspeakers. Restarting the computer, while the headphones are selected as default soundplayer solves the problem. I use a 64 bit windows 8 system, and I have the latest dlc. I would be glad if you could fix this. Otherwise keep on the good work, it's a great game!

Not a known issue with the game itself, something peculiar to your system most likely.

Please try a full clean re-install:

- move any valued save games elsewhere
- "delete local content" in Steam-CK2
- manually delete all files and folders left under Steam/CK2 AND Documents/Paradox/CK2
- re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
- start the game with no mods active and test

IF that doesn't help, Please post a dxdiag.txt (you can delete everything after the end of the "Sound devices" section for brevity) and your Documents/CK2/settings.txt. From your Documents/Paradox/CK2/logs/ directory, post system.log . What version # and checksum do you see a/ in the launcher and b/ in the main game menu?
