Hello! So to test out the new Waking the Tiger content, I played as Japan and using The Unthinkable Option focus, I sparkled a communist revolution at the end of 1936. With the Imperial Army outnumbering my forces, I sieged Tokyo for a few weeks before I relunctantly gave up some land to get Soviet support. Then the capital was ours, the Imperial administration exiled itself in Mandchuria and the Home Islands were under finally under communist rule. Glorious!
Only there was one issue: for the following months, I had 42 Imperial divisions chilling in my backyard. Once the civil war was over, those divisions remained on my territory with no way of getting home to Mandchuria or leaving to guard Imperial islands in the Pacific, or even getting supplies. The Imperial Kwantung Territories wouldn't accept my offers for military access in order to get their troops out of there, so I had to wait for my entire army to be rebuilt before continuing the fight and I was able to quickly overrun more than 750k soldiers within a week or two. Not only that, but that also left the Imperial islands in the Pacific undefended so what was supposed to be a vicious island-to-island fight was actually a piece of cake... both for me Australia (!!!!)
I think this needs to be fixed.
