Looking for help regarding this situation I first encountered.
My new empress did not live in my court because her husband (matri-marriage) was adventurous and tried to press his claim. He failed and the ruler he tried to usurp banished him to some county in Byzantium. Along the way to his war, he acquired the Zealous trait and so he refused to return to my court.

All her children are Basque Catholics so they have nothing in common with the father, but for some reason the game counts them as belonging to his court. It can be seen on the second screenshot.

She follows her father who is my spymaster, and for some reason I can't even offer marriage with a single man from my court, as i cannot click on the offer button when i communicate with the father.
