Hey all,
First time posting on these forums. Looking for a little help if you folks would be so kind.
I tried to load my old Majesty and Majesty:The Northern Expansion CDs. The games both fully install however when i click to play they are not getting passed the initial Majesty load box where i still see my entire desktop behind it.
The game then closes and im left with an error window, this is what it says.
AppName: Majx.icd AppVer: 1.1.0.1.1 Mod Name: Majx.icd
ModVer 1.1.0.1.1 Offset: 0021ac9e
That is what is in the error box. Now ive read some forums here suggesting to run it in win95 or 98 modes which i have and i also tried putting my resolution to 800/600 and 256 color but still get the same error. Ive run this game on this computer hundreds of times in the past and never once had an issue. Also i have the downloaded update from the website.
Only 2 things ive changed is added another gig of ram and an updated vid card. I know the games 8 years old or so but i am really hoping this is a minor fix!
If anyone can help or know of where i can go to find help it would be greatly appreciated. Would really love to play this again!
