Yes it is alive and well. Keep in mind I am in the HoI 3 Alpha as I said on the TRP news and just like the move from HoI 1 to HoI 2 there will probably be a very long wait after 0.94 release because of HoI 3.
If you are following the Dev Diary for Paradox you will know how different HoI 3 will be compared to HoI 2. They virtually have nothing in common.
