Is this weird?

I imagine everyone at some point in their youth lay on their backs outside watching the clouds and looking for shapes in them.

I sometimes find myself doing the same for the first 30-50 years in Stellaris. As my empire grows, I can often imagine one shape or another. Past 50 years, it is usually just some misshapen blob.

Does anyone else do this?

Yes.

It's usually a certain male organ due to how it's important to stretch out and take chokepoints.

Freud was fond of saying that it meant something to always be imagining that shape. Then again he also said that sometimes a cigar is only a cigar.
