I am playing the kings of Bohemia in the HRE and I am currently HRE. I am currently losing the election for HRE, which is fine. My next title is K of Bohemia (Seniority) which will currently be inherited correctly by the next oldest dynasty member, my second cousin the D of Moravia. My demesne the D of Bohemia and counties show Primogeniture succession and will be inherited by my son the D of Bavaria - which looks like an error. I have killed myself with the console and this inheritance happens.

Is this the correct behaviour?

I have uploaded a few screen shots showing:

1) Me and the possible error of Primogeniture succession on D of Bohemia
2) HRE inheritance law and heir
3) K of Bohemia inheritance law and heir
4) My son and his predicted inheritance of D of Bohemia
5) New K of Bohemia after my death
6) New D of Bohemia after my death

I don't see what would be wrong with this.

Since the title is in primogeniture it should pass to your eldest heir, that being your son. Only odd thing here for me is the fact that the duchy and the kingdom have differend succession laws. Do you have any idea how that happened?

Hi Finnishviking - that is my question. Normally duchies will follow the inheritance laws of the higher title. Originally - I started out as the Duke of Bohemia in the Stanfford Bridge bookmark. At the beginning the Ducal title for Bohemia had Seniority succession and it has always followed the Kingdom title. The change noted only happened after I got elected HRE and I am not not winning. When I am winning, the Duchy of Bohemia follows I guess the HRE title (and so does the Kingdom of Bohemia title).

Can confirm this happens in version 2.3 of the game, so it has been like this for quite a while.

Upon death, my brother became king of bohemia (seniority), a single county, everything else went to my eldest son via primo (2 duchies, 6 counties). Absolute clusterfuck.
