I just got Eu4 a few days ago and after a bit of trail and error I think I have a good game so far.But what do you think?
I'm trying to form germany and you should see france now.Welcome!
It depends on your goals. EU4 is a sandbox game without a clear "victory condition", so to speak. If you feel that you are doing ok, then you probably are
The big question though: what happened to France!?
It is unfortunate that you were not able to occupy the province of Konigsberg yourself. This province is required for you to form Prussia which would be very beneficial to you.
That is a very strong Commonwealth that has advanced over the Danube and into the Steppe and looks like it's about to take the rest of the Ottomans European holdings. It won't matter too much as long as you stay on their good side (looks like they may have rivalled you though). It's unfortunate that Muscovy did not do well because they should be the best ally against the PLC. If Sweden is still loyal to Denmark then you plus Denmark and Muscovy might be able to take down the big pink blob.
Looking at this what would you guys say the best practices are for "safely" expanding within the HRE?
In short, conquer the centres of trade in the Lubeck node.Oh and quick thing can anyone tell me how to make a lot of ducets because I can never fully fund my army.
