The Mongols having only just arrived, and taking over Hungary, amongst other things, and not the nations on the eastern border? >.>
In my other game they've started from the Byzantine Empire of all places. Like, come on.

In my last few games they only took over some steppe kingdoms and then sat there forever. I think what you have is preferable. They are suppossed to be a threat to eastern Europe and Persia, after all.
The only bad think about it in your screenshots is the border gore.
