Having watched all 26 episodes of Cohh's preview gameplay, there are a few things I hope HBS can still tweak before 24th. Do you also have a list?

1. The overheat warning needs to be more prominent. I've advocated for a popup since the very first dev vid in the hotel.

2. Hope there are more tweak to improve AI teamwork. AI seemed mostly okay but the Griffin in ep 26 really derped out focusing on a braced Shadowhawk for two rounds instead of ganging up on the wounded Blackjack that his mates have been working on.

3. OMG, salvage. There is SO MUCH SALVAGE! Either make mech parts available only from legged or head-shot mechs or heavily restrict the priority salvage options in negotiations.

4. Mech parts. Is it me or once you have 3 mech parts, you automatically have that mech in pristine conditions plus all of its default weapons? That seems....awfully generous.

Edit: Adding a few nice suggestions from other below but likely to be too much work ito implement before launch:

5. An in-game encyclopedia. I promise to read every entry about the Magistracy of Canopus. :p

6. A zoomed in camera view of your mechs in the mech bay.

7. Something to record your previous mech config. Makes refitting your mechs to suit the mission/biome less of a pain.

I agree with 4. The mech should be completely empty...if only because all the useable equipment from all the destroyed mechs that made the 3 mech parts was already allotted to a salvage pool when the parts were created. Being built with all the gear means every mech part is also 1/3rd of the stock mechs gear, which is magic gear since the gear it was equipped with was already salvaged prior to rebuild.

Then again, this is still a preview build. It could already work differently.

I agree with this. I hope they need the whole salvage a mech and it is pristine. I think you should have to spend time constructing it and have to outfit it with your weapons.

It's suppose to be 99% complete. Cohh's preview build is pretty much as is according to him hence the story line embargo. HBS can really use the next few wks to tweak things given the viewer feedback.

I definitely do not want to have to click-through a warning every time I am about to overheat a little. The warning is already red and flashing. at most a make it higher contrast, but do not make it another click item.

What I'd like is for the Fire button itself to flash red if you are going to overheat. That'd be noticeable even on the red martian biome.

I like the fire button flashing red idea better than what I was going to suggest. I was thinking they just needed to change the color of the alert that is already there to be more visible.

That guy in the last picture with the spider wouldn't be able to fit inside the whole head of that mech, let alone have any computers, armor, structure, chair, controls, wiring, life support with him in it.
Those were some nice pictures back in the day, but many times we read in novels about how long it would take to climb up a mech, and the hero always worries about getting shot by the time he makes it to the knee joint.
That picture of the spider would only take that guy a few seconds to climb a ladder into it.
granted those are novels, and the author takes a bit of poetic license...but sheesh, that poor guy would have more room to stretch out in a piece of luggage than the head of that spider.

Yeah, that's true. I think maybe the cockpit was meant to be in the chest for that one.

Just what I was going to write too.

I also believe that the "Fire" button should change color, from white to orange or red, some of the biomes (desert) are similar coloring to the flashing warning.

Cramped is one thing, but to try and pilot a mech folded in half, as that's the only way he'd fit in that thing.......

Small pilots... Spider is a small machine, supposed to be, what, 10-12 meters tall at best? That guy running next to it obviously not the pilot. You'd need a shorter pilot. Of course, you spoke about poetic license. That looks like art to me, not a blueprint. Perhaps the artist took some artistic license and made the perspective strange? Or perhaps made the head smaller than it should be?

On the other hand... Have you ever looked inside the ball turret of a B-17 from WWII? I can't fit inside it. They had to have short guys in them.
