EUR has been suffering a little from a general lack of interest - both from players and developers - but it recently received a beta patch that fixed one of the biggest flaws of the game: cascading alliances. IMHO, this fix is even better than the one for Divine Wind. Not to mention that the end date for the game is now moddable...you have no idea how happy that has made me as a modder...
Considering all the talk that's been happening this past year or so since the last patch about how much a new one was needed, this update seemed a little...disappointing.
(I don't know about other people, but I stalked Johan on Twitter for most of October to watch for any hints...
)
So, since the EUR subforum is still fairly quiet, I figured I'd ask this question to the wider Paradox audience: who is still interested in the game, and if you aren't, what would it take to make you want to play it again?
As a secondary question to the devs: what have the download numbers for the patch been like so far? Understandably, you might not want to give out numbers, but did they match your expectations?
