Go for crappy statted girls in large courts. Kings work best in that respect as they usually have biggest courts.

Get them some popularity (prestige) and a good job (in your court), that usually makes them more attractive to the chicks. Or, if you are ready to forfeit personal control over female selection, give them a personal territory. Those who have a nice crib of their own have an easier time getting "down to business" with the ladies.

I notice the more presteige your brothers or other relatives have, the more likely for them to get a "yes" in a marriage proposal. I've had more success if my male relatives have an advisor level job in my court, if they are just Courtiers, I about always seem to receive a "no" answer. I have also noticed it is easier to marry a relative off to a member of a court of someone who is lower on the noble ladder then you. If you are a Duke, try a Count's court, etc.

Marry them to 60-70 year old females ....the marriage will give them some prestige ...and the wife will die off pretty quickly. Then the chance to find a young bride is easier.

Also don't expect a 'yes' for any female with a position in a very small court. If she is a good steward or chancellor, you will almost never get a 'yes'.

Go for normal courtiers from the larger courts. The chance is bigger then.

Many have tried and failed to pierce the incomprehensible darkness that is the CK marriage system. Some claim to have mastered it, tamed it, but those people are FOOLS! FOOLS! ALL OF THEM! No-one will EVER understand the CK marriage system, and no-one will EVER master it before it masters THEM...

I'd say your best bet is to take you Royal Heir and spam (spam, spam, spam lovely spam) the court of the count of Armpittia for his retarded leper daughter. With a bit of luck and a few years of spamming he might even agree! Good Luck, and Godspeed.

I'd rather not give them their own land as I'd like to increase the size of my court somewhat without depending on those damned cousins.

Anyhow, how do you get them prestige without giving them land? Aside from marryin them off to some old maid hopin she dies right away(or that crazy lady that you know you'll be able to kill soon enough)

If you set them as advisors, there is an event which fires once in a while that gives your advisors some prestige ("your councillor has served you well")

PS. And stop this geriatriophilia (or how it is spelled correctly) stuff :D

It worked for me, and I married them to Midas Touched courtiers I found with a bride finder :D

I dont know if it will work if they have a position in the court, I didnt give the leader a chance to appoint them I offered marriage right when they hit 16.
