Is there some loose list of what the next half dozen or so DDs will be?

Now I can understand not wanting to tell us stuff in advance because as a group we get a little bitchy when things we were expecting change, but I for one would really like to know what the subject of the next few DDs will be.

It is obvious what some of them eventually have to be, but Air War could be next month or it could be 8 months down the road.

Releasing such a list certainly won't put out many fires, but it might at least organize them a little bit so we are all hotly debating the same topics in a more pertinent order.

I believe that letting us know what we could expect from future DD's at least for the near future is a reasonable request.

IIRC the devs wrote in the previous DD that they didnt know what the next was going to be about yet. I imagine that since the game is so early in development they need to wait and see which areas are so "finished" that they can show them to us. Theres no point in showing something thats miles from being complete while stuff that just needs tweaking or minor changes are easier to show.
Its simply not possible for the devs to see into the future and foresee what it is possible to show us.

Also later in the development i imagine we will get told what the next DD is about. Thats how it has been on the other projects IIRC.

I think that I might have actually given the devs the idea for a music/sfx DD.

2) What features have finished (or at least presentable) artwork.
3) What features are able to be explained without talking about other features that aren't done yet or haven't been talked about yet.

I, too, would love some indepth content about how battles are fought. Not neccessarily all in one DD, but I have a lot of things I'm wondering about. How will naval battles be fought? How will subs participate? How will you handle air combat? Will there be phases to land combat like in EU, and (to a degree) TFH?

I always wonder if they've ever gotten to a point with a feature where they were considering it for a DD, than someone posts the same idea in the forums and it gets ripped to shreds by the community the devs are terrified and delete said feature and have to make up something like National dogs to cover it up.

No, I think we are too in touch with most of the community to not totally blunder like that. We are also gotten better at telling majority disapproval from 2 angry voices. More often i see someone posting an idea and people going "awesome" and we snicker because it was already planned like that

Never a doubt in my mind, I like to contemplate the inner workings of a mysterious development company while perusing the forums and come up with interesting scenarios sometimes.
