Is there going to be a different cover after all?

I noticed that on the official paradox website the cover of Victoria II has changed. It now displays Bismarck instead of general R.E. Lee. Not, that this matters to me a lot, but I was kinda surprised when I noticed it.

For Euro Release Bismarck is better, but maybe for American Lee is, what sure is not good is Lee for Europe

The Bismarck cover is a lot better than the Lee one, but I really can't see Bismarck as the North American cover.

Regional Cover.


Let's face it most Yanks when walk into the gaming store wouldn't be able to identify Bismarck and when reading the name Victoria, they'll be thinkin' "Is this one of em' Victoria Secrets?" in a typical Southerner accent.

On the other hand most young, white Americans (often rebellious) who make up the majority of video-game-purchasing consumers, tend to get warm when seeing the Dixie Flag or Robert E. Lee

I believe there was a developer comment but it's a headache to use copyright images on the cover
