IS there anyway to get trains to leave the map?

I can't find any train lines coming from the outside. Is there any way to make one of those? A mod perhaps?

You need to look at the map where you buy tiles. Each tile will list what outside connections are available.

You may be better off checking for these before choosing a map. Some maps have only 1. Four per map is the default limit.
