Playing through my first game in a long time, and the new Uber Natives keep trying to trash my colonial nations while i'm distracted. Is there any way to join the war as overlord, or do I just have to fab a claim on the natives, and start my own war to clear out their stacks and let my colonial nation recover?
Is there anyway to assist my Colonial Nations when getting attacked?

ah! i get it now. I thought it meant when it showed red I couldn't do it; it just means they refuse to have a white peace, so I get to show up and slap them around. Nice !
You can also send heavy subsidies to your colony, if the war is in the early stages it might help them get bigger army and win.

Pray you don't get a regency council and never ask for trade since it prevents you from warring for 10 years (as the recipient maybe you can revoke before then...probably not worth the money regardless)
