I want to play as a Republic. Is there any way to do this? Moreso, I want to play as an order, like the Knights. Any way?

I don't think you can, only by making them normal feudal states you can, but then they are no longer republics or knightly orders

But you don't play a republic then, you are just playing a normal 'kingdom' or 'duchy' since your titles then will either be king or duke and not governor or grandmaster

So you will be king of Venice or king of the Teutonic order

well like the thread said i did for instance this:

MILA = {
gender = male
type = duchy
dna = "44245829842537"
title = { MILA C235 C246 }
}

bit i didnt change the goverment thing, and the thing worked somehow...

edit: saves worked to, but before i load a save i had to add the code again
