Highly doubtful because Paradox has another game (EU4) coming out to cover that time-frame. The mechanics of this game are set-up for highly feudal societies and wouldn't work very well in later time periods.

To be fair some of them may know the EU series exist but prefer the character or dynasty approach of CK, even though I don't think the feudal mechanics would translate well in the time frame of EU.

More seriously, CK mechanics start to break down seriously when it tries to cover that period.

traditionally the paradox dev studio games always lead into each other. So you can start with CK, EU picks up were they left off, then victoria and finally HoI. Each one approaches their own time period in a unique way but they all run on the same engine and the world is still divided up into provinces. There's also EU Rome but its by far the least popular of the series.

You can use unofficial or official converters to convert your save from one game to the next. There's a number of AARs of people playing from 1066 to 1964 or there abouts.

If I recall correctly, he only said that he would really like to make such a converter, but didn't actually promise it is going to happen.
