Ive recently conquered Francia as Hispania and im stuck on whether i should keep Francia or just destroy it . Its been a couple years that i have ruled, but what are the pros/cons of having 2 empire titles if any besides the prestige.
Is there any benefit to having 2 empire titles?

The main one I can see is the de-jure claims you can press for any kingdom in the empire that you can find a claimant for. Maybe the last few de jure county claims if you can't find claimants willing to come to your court for the last few.
One thing i did since i conquered Francia was that i created kingdom titles and gave them to dynasty members.Over time wont those kingdoms become apart of my primary empire if i destroy Francia? Only reason i conquered them was to halt French expansion they were blobbing too quick
. Also either A i can destroy it to prevent my Empire from splitting or B change my succession laws so i dont have to worry about that.

The benefit would be to use it to conquer any dejure lands that you're missing. After that I would just destroy it and wait for the kingdoms to drift into your main title.

I find the main benefit of having the new title is to take de jure land and create subject titles, after that I destroy the empire level title due to the risk of a faction forcing me to change succession law and all of a sudden losing a big part of your land, over time the drift should make it all de jure anyways
It will split up some of your factions! There will be two different factions for elective monarchy in your realm. Or if you not have conclave, two different CA factions
The #1 benefit to having multiple titles equal to your Primary Title: You can change your laws an additional time per cooldown cycle per title. So if you have 2 Empire or 2 Kingdom titles you can change your crown authority, change your primary title, and change your crown authority again. Then you can change your primary back again if you so desire. You're laws for Kingdoms are consistent and shared across all kingdoms you control. Someone further down said this might not be the case for Emperor level titles, and truthfully I haven't tried this at Empire tier. You should still be able to change the laws with independent cooldowns though, even if the laws are not shared.
//edit for clarity -- This works regardless how many titles. Got 5 Kingdoms and your primary title is a Kingdom? Great. Go from Low authority to Absolute in 5 months.
Why is this such a big deal? Starting out as a tribal character means you have fully empowered council. Have fun bringing that down with only one title at your top tier. I recommend making sure you have all of your laws in order as best as you can any time you plan to create or usurp a title above your current tier for this reason as well.

If you have more than one empire title, kings in the non-primary empire title will desire it. Additionally, if you change succession laws, you have to do it separately for each empire title; all those opinion modifiers will add up!
I never have more than one Emperor title. In my mind it's dumb to have more than one. More king titles, sure. You can be king of several kingdoms. But there's only one Empire.

That's true but if you manage to maintain one Empire it should be easier to maintain two smaller ones.
In the end of the day multiple Empires don't make much sense.
My primary title is elective while Francia is gravelkind, but i can change the crown law to primo or elective. Since my ruler is old and Francia is Gravelkind i risk losing the empire if i dont act quick. So to destroy or enact primogeniture is the question.

I cant destroy a gravelkind title i meant that once i switch it to primogeniture should i just keep it primogeniture or destroy it once its switched.
I don't think there's any penalty for holding two empires and keeping it will reduce the likelihood of independence factions getting their way.

You can claim the remaining 20% of counties (but I'm sure in that level you prefer the holy wars) and gain little more prestige.
Bad things: Some kings de iure vassals would desire the title and... etc. If you fed up and destroy the title... more complains.
So better avoid temptation. Although everybody has, at least once, married that little HRE/Byzantine empress. XD
