Easier to defend one province from bombings, and easier to concentrate a defence there as well.

Can i ask how it impacts repair? Does it scale depending on how much of a structure there is that needs repairing?
In my mind, it'd be faster to repair 10 1xIC provinces that have been bombarded than to wait for it to go through repairing all 10 pips in the one province, one-by-one.

I've been given to understand that having more of a thing in a tile leads it to repair marginally faster - it works with INFRA too - that is to say if you have a 10 INFRA tile that gets log bombed, it'll repair slightly faster than if it were a 2 infra tile that got log bombed. I think the justification is in economies of scale. If you have a massive industrial city, not only will it be harder for the enemy to attack specific facilities (due to having to recognize they're hitting the right one from the sky), but most of the materials for building such places are right on hand. Whereas less robust facilities will need replacement bits and construction materials to be brought in from outside hence delaying repairs.

Actually, its ALL infra-specific. A L10 factory wont repair faster than a L1 will... however, a bombed factory on a province with L10 INFRA will repair faster than one on a province with L3 INFRA.

That's why blowing up INFRA on a province should ALWAYS be the first step in a bombing campaign.

As for putting L10 on one province... if you are a medium-size power, concentrating all your IC in a couple provinces can allow you to *gasp* actually get some use out of AA brigades to defend it. Majors just have too much IC to effectively do that with though, unless you like "powerdefending" dozens of provinces with AA divisions.

"Power defending" is best done with Interceptors, not AA. While AA divisions will continue to do trivial damage to the bombers long after provincial AA has been completely wrecked by the first couple of raids, they're not enough to really stop the bombing on their own. A wing of 3x or 4x Interceptors can ground the bombers for repair for weeks at a time.

Repair is at a rate defined by Infrastructure, so spreading your 10 factories out across 10 provinces means that all 10 are repairing simultaneously, rather than sequentially. It does mean that you may need to defend all 10 locations, and boost the Infrastructure in all 10, rather than in just one. Against the AI, the defense is not problem, because the AI will tend to hit the same one or two provinces over and over every time they repair above some threshold.

Indeed, but depending on who you are (I.E. how many provinces you are guarding), a couple "AA divisions" may be far cheaper than INT wings.

Of course, better than that (if possible) is to make this province a port, and park your navy in it. :)

I have found that one can lead the enemy AI into bombing certain provinces (with IC) by building up AA everywhere else.

If you leave one province with less AA the AI will be drawn into bombing specially this province thus making it much easier to guard it with interceptors.
The interceptors will not deter the AI from bombing that province (as long as the AI has bombers with org) if the province is the one with the least AA defenses.

Depends on what specific air mission is used, and which expansion: in some expansions mobile AA brigades will only defend against attacks on military units in the province, in others they will protect the buildings and infrastructure as well.

And the information regarding mud AA units defending against which type of air attacks in which expansions is located where?

Another advantage to putting your air-space defense IC spending in interceptors vs AAA is that interceptors can be relocated as your borders expand.
