Capital planets with all their delicious pops.
But how can we get one in very early stages of the game?

I mean once we get to that stage of having at least 3-4 strong planets it's easy game, but trouble is before that, trouble is when borders start to touch and the AI is at least 2x stronger due to his massive bonuses, and our snowballing effect is far from heated.

When I finish my current game I'll give it a try on GA, I know I'll have to reload game multiple times but I'll try and see.

By building 60~ish corvettes in 10~ish years.
That's approx what it takes. (45 is theoretically enough, but pretty much no margin for error on that)

Alloys are always such a problem, especially in the beginning of game when there is not enough pops and when everything else is needed as well.

ex. I need bureaucracy, minerals, energy, more ships, more alloys and more everything.
It's so difficult to focus on alloys only, and even if you do that's a sacrifice of other things just to boost your stats to prevent the AI from attacking you.

I'm pretty sure you can't snake your entry empire, either you exclude something or your starbases serve no other purpose than trade.
2-3 starbases are trade, rest is achorage or shipyard but obviously still within the snake
