Is there a way to upgrade existing worm hole generators?

First game using worm hole generators? I'm reading the wiki but I'm still not sure on how they are supposed to work.

There is no upgrading wormhole generator stations, you simply get passive bonuses with tech. How they work is: Each wormhole generator you build in space will allow your ships to jump into any system within its range. It does however, require that your ships first be in the system with the generator and jumping out, or jumping to the system with the generator.

Your generators automatically upgrade to the latest wormhole tech you research.

If you want to be able to transport multiple fleets at once, you could always just build multiple wormhole stations in the same system.

With larger fleets, multiple smaller fleets is faster then one large one. The prep time is based on fleet size.

(200 plus fleet size) divided by 13 and multiply fleet size by 1.3 went going to a neutral or hostile star system

According to your formula a fleet of 1000 jumping to a hostile system:
Divided into 100 fleets of 10 ships: ((200+(10x1.3))/13)x100=1638.5
Divided into 10 fleets of 100 ships: ((200+(100x1.3)/13)x10=254
One fleet of 1000: ((200+(1000x1.3)/13)x1=115.5

So either your conclusion is completely off or your formula is.

Yes it appears more because you are not using the formula correctly as you are combining the time.

(200+(100*1.3))/13 for a single fleet of 100
For 25.38 days

(200+(50*1.3))/13 for two fleets using two wormhole generators for 20.38 days

There is no need to upgrade the stations or the shipside module.
Wormhole can go anywhere provided the travel either starts or ends in a system with a owned wormhole station.

The only limitation (aside from range), is that only one fleet can use a station at any one time. So having multiple per System can be helpfull in high traffic areas. As well as having them near likely parking or production spots (like spaceports).
