Yep, abandoning CoTs is your only real option, and the absolute crash in your income will not be worth it if you're trading in lots of CoTs, which you no doubt are.

For clarity, I do mean hitting the "abandon CoT" button for each centre. instantly ejects all of your merchants. at the turn of the month your monthly gain will be recalculated.

That's 150 ducats saved but lord only knows how much you have to spend on getting that stability back, not to mention the time that you are at low stability you're losing out on income. I stuggle to see how that could be thought of as worth it. Yes you have to mint a little to actually get that income into the treasury, but I still can't see it as being worth it. Navarra should be pooing money in all regards.
