Is there a way to shift the entrance of a metro station in relation to the platform?

I've noticed that the entrance to an underground metro station isn't fixed in relation to the platform below, but has some freedom and somewhat random movement every time I place a new station. The hunch is that this is directly related to the depth of the platform from the surface, but is there a way to manually control this deviation? It would be very useful in some tight situations (e.g. adding extra room for tracks just about to cross a river).

The position is a result of the height difference, with current system you can only rotate the station 180°. There is no randomness in the code, it calculates the average height.
(As far as I understand the code calcs however at a fixed offset relative to the ground piece, so there may be some edge case)

As the current station pieces really have fixed entrance / exit directions for the stairs it's not possible without new models.

As you see here:

For the Stadtbahn Addon* I work on some new way creating new stations, this may result in a new Big Underground Metro Station in the future.

But currently the uv texturing part for some pieces really won't work.
If you move the service platform more to the right and heigher, the entrance would move to the right too.

* not an official add-on.
