Using spies? Assassins/ninjas would have been great. Also historically correct.

It would be really broken if you could. You can assassinate advisors that is about it. If you could kill kings it would just be royal marriage, throw spies at them until their king dies, claim throne or obscure documents to victory.

Well, or just save & reload, to kill any king... well like in Medieval TW - you just sent all best assasins to kill some enemy king...

If you go the Save&Reload-till-i-get-what-i-want road you can aswell just use console commands. "die FRA" --> bam! french king assassinated. Less husssle, same effect.

Just dont kid yourself into thinking Save&Reload being a legitimate tactic, its cheating. But as its singleplayer, your only cheating yourself out of a challenge.

Well Save&Reload is not cheating. Cheating = using cheats. This is just exploiting the ability of being possible to reload. So it is just exploit. If using exploits is legitimate tactic... well i don't care. I ussualy do not use this, instead rather just play normaly in sp. In mp anyway, you won't be able to use this tactic, true, but you will be able to just go max on spies, and start to kill your enemies kings, until they got all regency concuils, and so cannot dow anyone, and everyone can claim their thrones. You can, before the buildings level 5 come in, have max 4 spies yearly, which is very big amount whatever.

Apparently you're not aware of what cheating really means...
