Stellaris is my first attempt at modding a Paradox game. Most things seem very straightforward, and I've been having success changing some game rules to better suit my own needs. One aspect of modding the game that I don't know how to do is giving both basic and strategic resources to an empire, so I figured this would be the right place to ask.
Is there a way to give resources (basic and strategic) to an empire?

Giving in what way? At the start of the game? Via trade? Via the console while playing a game? How do you want it to work?
Not at the start or via trade but rather at a discreet, arbitrary time such as the start of each day or month.
