Is there a way to fix the robots angering the Authoritarian Faction?

Hi everyone,

I'm finding the Authoritarian disdain for non-sentient robots to be a drag on the game. Under the current rules, I would need to give them free will just to oppress them. Seems counterintuitive compared to just running a totalitarian state in the back of legions of robot drones.

I'm hoping someone knows a smarter fix than this. Even if it's modding the Authoritarian Faction back to being pleased as long as some species are unequal, or just being happy with non sentient robots.

The problem is simply a 'typo' in the relevant faction file looking for citizenship_ai_servitude when it should be looking for citizenship_robot_servitude (or vice versa, cant check as im on mobile atm).

There are detailed instructions floating around the forum somwhere in one or more of the several other threads on this bug.

Isn't the issue the lack of sapient slavery/stratification? Do you have anyone in your empire that has more rights than anyone else? (other than the toasters)

Isn't the issue the lack of sapient slavery/stratification? Do you have anyone in your empire that has more rights than anyone else? (other than the toasters)

It's all part of the same check, so no matter what else you do it fails as soon as you have a robot pop without the aforementioned non-existant citizenship type (so any robot pop)

I had actually gone into the faction defines to see if I could modify it myself, I was so utterly perplexed when it appeared that robots were already accounted for. A naming error never even occurred to me, so I'm very happy people have helped me resolve this. :)
