Is there a way to create "invisible" parks?

I like the After Dark add-on with ocean side parks and the nice beachfront property we have with tropical and waterfront cities. The problem is the beaches are too empty and sterile looking especially for the tropical maps.

It would be nice if there are already made, or if it's possible to create "invisible" parks to attract tourists and residents.

The invisible part is the textures themselves that are strictly alpha-channel so they are clear so only the underlying ground is displayed. With the sand showing underneath, we can then have picnic benches, umbrellas and other beach-themed assets (props) on the sand rather than just on green ground which looks odd.

This will also have the affect of having the CIMs on the beach and would make the area more interesting. Now if we can get some of the skinny ladies in bikinis that would be interesting, but I don't think that's possible. :)

An added bonus would be having parks that can be placed on the water's edge and can interact with the water, albeit, on the shallow side, so that the peeps can appear as though they are in the water as well.

I'm not a content creator so I have no idea even where to being making assets such as this for C:SL, though I have an understanding of the concept since I have made models in the past using 3d-studio R4 for DOS. Can I say my skills are a wee bit rusty!

Thanks.

Just search the workshop for "beach".

This is the default state when you create an asset. The asset ground is completely invisible. If you want to create an own beach just open the asset editor, choose a park and place some umbrellas and benches. There are also parking lots (where cars actually park) and invisible places for crowds (where people actually go to) in the default props.

Or for a larger beach:

Thank you for your help.

I will check this stuff out and see how to looks and works. I don't download a lot from the workshop other than vehicles and buildings so this will give me another category to explore. :)

I didn't know that the asset by default was transparent, which is the word I probably should have used instead of invisible. This is a problem when you get old...

I'll have to experiment with the asset editor as well. I made a couple of small parks, but that was long before After Dark to fill in those places where a median strip of trees or that small square that's empty needs filling.
