Year 1584, Dutches revolts didn't occur yet and I'm starting to wonder if they're gonna ever unless I do something.
I'm playing as Italy currently but I'd like to see Netherland formed and I want to ask you if there's anything I can do to make it happen.
Holland has been relatively successful, as they control 5 provinces (Holland Frieseland Utrecht Zeeland Breda).
Of the regions with the Flemish/Dutch culture, only Calais (England) and Gelrdern (Cleves) are controlled by factions with a different culture as their primary one.
Currently I'm fighting as protestant leader in the HRE religious war and Holland (that is catholic) is on the Catholic side, Since I'm winning the war, I thought I could give 1-2 Holland's regions to Burgundy or England to trigger the Dutch revolts and Netherland formation. Is that gonna work?
