I've made threads about this before.

A minor help in 867 would be to make Khazaria Jewish like it was in real life instead of fake Tengri.

Another better solution might be to move one of the holy sites.

Another solution might be to make the Magyars convert sooner so that Tengri lose that one.

Moving one from the steppes to Musala would be good.
EDIT: Or atleast moving the Holy Site in Crimea to Kherson, making it harder. Not much, but they do have to fight the Byzzies.

Pagan reformations are so far from plausible to happen 20 years after game start. at least aztecs get 400 years... there was NO tengri religious infrastructure in 867, shit it took christianity centuries to build up it's own infrastructure and hierarchy
Pagan reformations (except Zoastrianism) are so far from plausible that they really shouldn't happen period unless the player is initiating it.

true enough... but from the years 867 to 1453 you have a lot of time to change things, after all Zoroastrianism "reformed" it just took centuries for the hierarchy and traditions to develop and be brought to the fore front of the state. but even then still pagan reformation is indeed highly, say 90+% unlikely even in all 600 years of gameplay.
