I started a game as a count nobody in Pechenegs liege was subjugated by Cumania, then my new liege subjugated Khiva and then a small civil war, then bam Tengri Faith reforms 888..... this is... ugh... rage quit right then...
The reason: Paradox didn't put the Holy Sites in better places. Only 3 should be in the immediate reach, and 2 should be far.
Some possible actual Holy Sites:

EDIT: While the 5th Romuva holy Site is, for example very far away, all the Holy Sites of the Tengri and Norse faith can be easily gained, the Norse need to bypass three counties to get to Braunschweig and the Tengri get the 4th and 5th Holy Site within only several years.
Yup. Musala was once Mount Tengri, and it's far enough from the reach of the Magyars (although I think it's a part of the county of Serdica/Sofia, so it's under Tengri Bulgarians).I think PDS should read this. Simple but most likely the best resolution.

First post, my replacement for Tribal Invasion (except for Horde titles (Seljuks, Ilkhanate, GH, Aztec Empire, etc.))
If you have any other ideas, post them over there.
That's not little. I know Paradox is better than most devs, but it sometimes seems as if they leave stuff unfinished.Tengri's not reforming.
They fixed it.Tengri absolutely loves to reform, both in 867 and 1066 starts.
The funny thing? Reformed Tengri Mongols become Chinese tech if put through the converter.
They fixed it.
Funny thing in my Italy>Italia>Byzantine>Roman Empire game is that even though it reformed, Tengri got wiped in any effective manner- the Ilkhanate showed up as Old Tengri, then got converted to Catholic.
The Golden Horde showed up as Reformed, but their head got assassinated by me, and I think they got their wars stolen out from under them because Ilkhanate civil wars ended. That's also the reason the Timurids ended up in Lithuania.
On topic... I don't mind Tengri Reformations, to be honest, it'd make the conversions to EU4 more interesting.
Yeah, but Christianity didn't have ultra-super-mega doomstacks of death.Pagan reformations are so far from plausible to happen 20 years after game start. at least aztecs get 400 years... there was NO tengri religious infrastructure in 867, shit it took christianity centuries to build up it's own infrastructure and hierarchy.
